KEN（根本 健一）1968年2月19日 生まれ O型 東京出身。
8歳から祖母の影響で藤本流の三味線を始め、高校入学前には名取りになる。
中学1年の年末、80'YMOのワールドツアー凱旋ライブを観てシンセサイザーを始める。
The Pepper Boysで1988年CBS SONYよりデビュー。
DOG FIGHTで1992年ポニーキャニオンでデビュー。
1997年頃からFEEL、森岡賢、ソフトバレエ、ENDS、高橋克典、篠原りか、等のサポートでツアーやレコーディングに参加。 その傍ら、BLue-B、wyse、CLOUD等ビジュアル系バンドのアルバム、シングルをサウンドプロデュース、楽曲も提供。
Say a little prayer、S.D.B.B等の制作ディレクターも務める。
テレビアニメ『旋風の用心棒』エンディングテーマアレンジ。
他にHONDAインテグラCM音 楽制作など。
2002年 パンクバンドSAにベーシストとして参加。
平行してKimeru、田村直美、タツマキ、渡瀬マキ、久宝留理子、喜多村英梨等のツアーサポートやレコーディングに参加。 CM、ゲーム、映画、ドラマ等の音楽制作に携わる。
趣味は70'スーパーカー、電車（国鉄）、STAR WARS。

at age 8, he started to practice "Shamisen"
in FUJIMOTO-RYU(FUJIMOTO sect /FUJIMOTO -RYU school of Shamisen).
his grand mother had a big influence on him.
in early teens, he went to see YMO for the very first time.
soon after that experience with their music he started playing synthesizer.

his work expanded offering a song for TV anime as well as TV commercials.
2002, joined punk band "SA" as bass player.
he is a big fan of 70's super cars, trains, and STAR WARS.
